A colouring update to Etched’s beautiful background. I’m loving the colours I’ve picked! I’ve gotten the brass elements and the curtains done…I think

The night sky will be the part that I will put the most effort into, hopefully I can do it justice!

After reading the new thread about the Pet Spotlight, I’m glad I gave up on it. The PS is bullshit, and now with screen resolution being supermegaomgIMPORTANT and extreme compatibility being required…fuck that. I make my pets for ME, not for your bullshit standards of a “good pet”. My layouts may…

Let me state again that nothing about the way the spotlight is judged has changed. All I did was make users aware of some things that go on behind the scenes. If you make your pets just for YOU, then why are you submitting them into the spotlight? The pet spotlight is NOT just a way to showcase your pets - it’s a contest. Otherwise we would auto accept every single pet, even blank profiles. If you just want your pets to be for you, then turn off spotlight nominations. But please, please, PLEASE quit assuming I stormed in and changed the rules. I didn’t change a single thing.

I most certainly hope you’re not assuming that I created this, Jessi. I’ve already made it clear how I feel on the Subeta thread about how much emphasis is being placed onto screen resolutions. I don’t need to make a SC anonymously with added cuss words to reiterate that.

Oh yes! The cracks are coming along so so nicely! Love how this looks, and it fits so well with the idea for the pet. Still so much to do, but I’m loving how it’s turning out.
